The first 1,000 replies a month on each business number are free. After that, each reply inside the 24-hour window costs the utility rate, SAR 0.0401. A chat that starts from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad is free for up to 7 days.
Does the rate depend on where my business is registered?
No. Meta charges by the country code of the number you message. Any business messaging a +966 number pays the Saudi Arabia rate. One exception: one-time passcodes from a business based outside Saudi Arabia cost the authentication-international rate, SAR 0.224.
Are there volume discounts?
Utility and authentication messages get cheaper in tiers as your monthly volume in a market grows, up to about 25 percent off at the top tier. Marketing messages and replies have no tiers.
