Chatfuel Pricing (2026): Plans and Credits vs ZynfoAI

Chatfuel has two published plans. Business costs US$18 a month billed yearly (US$216 a year) or US$20 billed monthly, and includes US$20 of AI credits each month. Agency S costs US$90 a month billed yearly (US$1,080 a year) or US$100 billed monthly, includes US$100 of AI credits and covers three client companies. Every plan starts with a free trial. Larger setups are priced on request. These figures are from the official Chatfuel pricing page, as of October 2026.

Two things the headline price doesn’t tell you. Chatfuel says usage limits apply and points to a separate plan-limits page, so check those against your contact and message volume. And WhatsApp messaging has its own cost from Meta (more on that below).

If you’re comparing Chatfuel with other AI support tools, our guide to Intercom Fin alternatives covers the wider field. Below is what Chatfuel is good at, and where ZynfoAI is a different kind of tool.

What Chatfuel is built for

Chatfuel is built around Meta’s messaging apps. Its pricing page describes AI that answers customers on Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. It is an official Meta Partner and a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider.

The Business plan reads like a social selling toolkit: WhatsApp campaigns, replies to post comments, lead scoring, product sales, booking meetings inside WhatsApp, CRM sync, and sending WhatsApp conversions back to the Meta Pixel so you can see which ad campaigns drive sales. If your customers arrive from Instagram ads or click-to-WhatsApp ads, that is the right shape of tool.

Agency S adds an agency dashboard, a dedicated account manager and bulk pricing, for teams running bots for several clients.

Chatfuel’s own refund terms are worth knowing before you commit: its pricing FAQ says you can get a refund if you cancel within 3 days on monthly billing or 30 days on annual billing.

Where the cost actually comes from

The plan fee is the predictable part. Two other lines grow with use.

AI credits are a dollar balance, not a count of replies. The Business plan includes US$20 of them a month. Chatfuel’s pricing page doesn’t say how many AI replies that buys, so test it in the trial with your real questions and watch the balance.

WhatsApp messages are billed by Meta. On any provider, Meta charges per template message, by category (marketing, utility, authentication) and by the recipient’s country. Replies inside the customer service window are free. The details are in Meta’s WhatsApp pricing docs. Broadcast campaigns, which Chatfuel is good at, are template messages, so they carry Meta’s fee.

Where ZynfoAI is a different tool

Chatfuel is strongest at getting people into a conversation from social channels and ads. ZynfoAI is built for what happens next: answering support questions from your own content, acting on orders and handing off to your team with context.

There is one plan: $99 a month or $990 a year, with a 7-day trial. It includes 5,000 conversations a month, 11 team seats, one AI agent and up to 500 training sources. There are no per-resolution fees and no separate AI credit balance to watch.

What that covers in practice:

  • Answers with the source. Train the agent on website pages, PDFs, DOCX and XLSX files, and Google Drive. It shows which source an answer came from.
  • Store actions on Shopify: order lookup (“Where’s my order #1042?”), cancelling unshipped orders, return requests and refund status, product recommendations, add to cart, discount codes and back-in-stock requests.
  • Leads that reach your CRM: capture, qualification and demo booking, synced to Freshsales.
  • A real handoff. The agent spots when a customer wants a person, writes a summary and routes the chat to your team within working hours. Website and WhatsApp chats share one team inbox with private notes, transfers and CSAT.
  • WhatsApp through the official Business API, connected with Meta’s Embedded Signup. See how the WhatsApp AI chatbot works.

When Chatfuel is the better choice

Pick Chatfuel if Instagram and Facebook are where your customers talk to you. ZynfoAI does not connect to either.

Pick it if you run click-to-WhatsApp or Instagram ads and want the conversation tied back to the Meta Pixel.

Pick it if marketing broadcasts, comment auto-replies and story replies matter more to you than support answers.

Pick it if you are an agency building bots for several clients. Agency S is built for that, and ZynfoAI has no agency plan.

And pick it on price if your volume is low. US$18 a month is well below ZynfoAI’s $99.

When ZynfoAI is the better fit

Pick ZynfoAI if most of your messages are support questions: shipping times, return rules, product specs, order status. Pick it if you run a Shopify store and want the agent to look up and cancel orders, not just reply. And pick it if a few people share support and need one inbox for website and WhatsApp, with a handoff that arrives with the full story.

ZynfoAI does not cover email, SMS, Instagram or Facebook Messenger. If you need those, the other tools in our Intercom Fin alternatives guide may suit you better. You can also browse all ZynfoAI comparisons or read the ZynfoAI vs WATI comparison if WhatsApp is your main channel.
